Business Networking - When does it End?

I’ve had many ask me how long you need to network while you are doing business. My regular answer is NEVER STOP!

If you intend to keep finding new people to market your business to, or stay open as a retailer, or sell to, as a representative from a business, you will never stop networking. That’s a good thing!

It’s a good thing because that keeps the pipeline for customers for your business fresh! It broadens the amount of networks that are familiar with what your company plans are and how you are marketing the business. It gives you the opportunity to get new perspectives on what you do at your business, which can lead to alternative revenue streams that you had not thought of in the past.

It gives you a chance to potentially find new employees for your company or possibly new product lines to add to the inventory. The list of positives for networking is literally endless!

And so it goes! Never ending is a long time from now. It’s hard to see it from here and reality is, that you never will! Make it interesting. Get into it. Be strategic about what you do as you network. Follow up with the people you meet. Take the rewards straight to the bottom line!

What are your challenges when it comes to time management? I look forward to hearing your comments. Until next time...
